Summer Transfer Window 2017

just saying, he's going to be spending the best part of about £150M so he better get in excess of last season's puny points total.
It will be hard to get an extra 11 points (imo). I've been pleased with the summer in comings (esp Sandro, Keane and Cuco) but are we stronger than that legendary team which set our PL record of 72 points? hmmm, very debatable, and relative to the improvements in the top 6 super clubs, most definitely not.
I think we're in for a challenging season.

Martinez is the worlds best salesman.
Martinez got Lukaku through the door, which in all honesty is still the greatest and most defining achievement of of Everton in the premier league era.

None of the signings that Koeman has got in so far compares to Lukaku in 2014, not even close.
Dear God.
Am I mistaken or did Moyes get us into the top four in the premier league era.
Signing Lukaku does not compete lad.

5th/6th is realistic and should be the aim, stuff the points tally. As is a trophy but we need a CB and a CF. Sigurdsson at 50m is madness.

There'll be no excuses accepted, no hard luck stories. He got his signings in, he has to get CL footy (5th and missing out by a point or two will be viewed sympathetically like) or win a trophy.

Anything short of that....adios.

No chance Moshiri is sacking him. Anything less than 7th is unacceptable though. I always said this would be a 3 year project:

Season 1. Establish ourselves as best of the rest again and get Europe

Season 2. Gut the squad of the dross and bulk it out to compete in multiple competitions

Season 3. Add those star signings and make a real push for the top 4

I think I'd like us to be that ruthless next summer if we don't win a trophy or push for CL, as I don't much rate the manager.

However it wouldn't be the most outlandishly crazy thing for the club to do if they give him his three seasons to see the work through. I think it would be fine to dislike the decision, as I would, but it would extremely OTT to be screaming from the rooftops to get him out the door.

No target whatsoever for a second season after spending £150+M?

Pfffffft!
