The thing about a DoF, he's not supposed to have just 1 target. I get the arguement 'the right players might not be available at the moment', but it's supposed to be a whole 'ok, if he's not available, go on to the next target'. Thats what Monchi did over @ Sevilla, that's what most of them do. Just aiming at 1 player and ignoring everything else for the last 3 weeks seems...odd.

I worry that the squad needs more than is being touted by Koeman. Unless he sees Martina as a backup to Baines too (I can't see it personally), then we need a LB as well as a CB.

I can see the temptation to replace Ross with Sigurdsson, but can't help but feel we need a winger too. Mirallas, Lookman, Lennon and Bolasie (With DCL and Sandro also able), doesn't feel like the quality required to push on.

A player like Ziyech would be who I would look at, as feel he can cover CAM as well as RW/LW quite effectively. Doubt Ajax will be willing to sell having lost klaassen but would be just the ticket.

If we sign an amazing centre forward that allows Sandro to be freed up in wider areas. So that might be Koeman's plan

There is a difference in a player not being available and a player not being available yet
