Summer Transfer Window 2017

The thing about a DoF, he's not supposed to have just 1 target. I get the arguement 'the right players might not be available at the moment', but it's supposed to be a whole 'ok, if he's not available, go on to the next target'. Thats what Monchi did over @ Sevilla, that's what most of them do. Just aiming at 1 player and ignoring everything else for the last 3 weeks seems...odd.

we evidently aren't doing that

the fact that we're holding out on Giroud suggests strongly that we're still confident of getting our number one target.

As I also keep repeating, the signings we have done so far have given us a bit of breathing room heading into the season as well.

rs fans on reddit are doing my head in. Most of the posts on Everton transfer stories are from them, being snarky etc. And half of them are from America!

Guardiola has been full of praise for Nasri after his pre-season performances, but said that with the options available there's no place for him at City.

I think he'd be perfect, and would likely cost a lot less than some of the inferior footballers that are going for absurd money these days.

Not a good idea, signing a lad who's looking at a 4 year ban, and is also trouble, swerve

Or we end up with an Enner Valencia

I admire your points, it's true, we're going ok on the transfer market right now... but I'd argue that Lukaku is an upgrade for united. Ibra missed buckets of chances regularly and Lukaku will help United see off the teams they struggled with last season.

I just don't think we're stronger than last season. This isn't even a knock on all the signings, we've done alright but I'm just not feeling it at this point just yet...
I think you have significantly improved your defense with Keane and Pickford.
Klassen is a good player too, should help out in midfield, Sandro is a bit of an unknown quality, but i think he'll do fine, and Rooney has been good for you so far hasn't he? Hardly bad businees to me, although you are still one or two players short of really challenging after Lukaku, but i expect that you will make a move for a striker after Sigurdsson
