In all comps Giroud will score more than Rom does this season at United IMO

I think you are along the right track mate. Giroud will score goals for us and also help our all round play. For guys like Klaasen and even Davies he will be the perfect forward to run beyond.

I think Lukaku will out score him. You look at the chances United missed in easier games last season and I fancy Rom to get a hatful in some games, and hopefully be more of a presence in big games.

Giroud will offer more all round to his game though. As Koeman also said the challenge is to add more goals. Rooney, Sandro, Klaasen and Sigurdson all need to be targeted with 10+ this season and hopefully Giroud can get 15. That would be 55 goals added.

Are you drunk? You do understand how much united used to pay him, and how much we are paying him now? He's got millions. His millions got their own millions. Why would he need to go anywhere to make money? And how does him not needing more cash make him want to play? He's such a blue and a nice guy yet he still wanted to be the best payed player at our club, even tho he could easy play for free for the rest of his carrer and still roll in money?
If thats not bad enough, he's not that good anymore either. His touch is as bad as Roms, he's SO slow and just falls over all the time. Never should have brought him back. He's not good enough, and the fee/salary could be used on actual good players, not a has-been using us to stroke his own ego.

Wayne transfer makes me sick.

He could play for free you're right. But he won't. He's always been interested in the money, hence why he was earning over 200k a week at Utd.

If you think Rooney has come here to sit on the bench and be a 'squad' player then you're very wrong and naive.

Hmmm.

Not sure on that matey. I think Rom will do well.

Rom will bag plenty this season. In fact I can see him being the top-scorer.

I don't think that'll be enough to win United the league, though.

He'll score goals. But will he be able to drag United through the big games. I suppose that's the question.
Well he never dragged us through big games, mostly he dragged us down in them games with his I CANT BE BOTHERED attitude.

We'll see, like I said.

When/if the odds are stacked against United, I don't think he'll be the player to drag them through it.

But in games where they control/create plenty, I can't see him not bagging plenty. And at the end of the day, had they put away chances in those type of games last year, they'd have been up there in the top 3/4.

I think some of you are making this too difficult. Sigurdsson in the left doesn't hurt his value or his ability. Rooney slots right, Sandro up top for now, klassen middle, Gana and Morgan behind, Davies, Lookman, others in the mix. Giroud signs, he's up top, But Sandro will get plenty of games.

My thoughts entirely.

ridiculous that. he has took a massive pay cut to join. he could off went abroad and doubled his money if tevez has he could. he has come to play and will improve us on and off the pitch. his touch is not as bad as roms. he never played good the other day nobody did. he will come good for us.
He hasn't, United are subsidising his wages.

Let's not kid ourselves, Rooney is here because he is no long deemed good enough for the team that was placed 1 above us last season.

Rooney for me is a squad player, I will be gutted if he's been promised a starting role with us. I'd like to see him and Klaassen fighting it out for the number 10.

I actually think Klaassen was signed for number 10, and that situation has been made more difficult, if you will, once it became apparently we could get a good deal on Rooney. I'd rather have not signed him to be honest, for several years I've been saying he offers very little nowadays, and I won't change that just because he's suddenly wearing blue again.
And yet one of the highlights of preseason has been the interplay between Rooney and Klassen and between Rooney and Sandro - I have a sneaking feeling that Rooney will be he x-factor that makes Everton tick this year.

I like the Rooney, Klaasen, Sandro axis. But I'd also like a taller target man for some of Cuco's lethal crosses

That kopite blert Mick Quinn chuckling about our business on the radio this morning. Says we were poor on Thursday and that we are crying for a playmaker but we have Ross. Well I hope Coutinhio pisses in your chips 'Quinny' you big tit.
