Summer Transfer Window 2017

all of the top 6 transfer business has slowed as well...alot of brinkmanship going on with fees i think

a lot of deals are kind of on hold as selling clubs scrabble round for replacements as well, Monaco for example are making sure they get the replacement in before selling their player, thats causing a knock on effect all the way around.

The Neymar sale now will cause a similar effect, a lot of clubs are left waiting-for Barca to come in for one of theirs and holding off until they see what happens.

Going to be some huge transfers soon as Barca spend that Neymar money and it causes a ripple effect

If we had carried on like before Lukaku, we'd have a squad of 248 players by now.

I get that but before it seemed as though the club had clear targets and was getting business done.

Over the last three weeks we have been farting around with Swansea over £5 million for supposedly our number one target.

The most important area of the pitch is the centre forward position. It was absolutely vital that we had a replacement for Rom ready to come in. It now seems our number one target Giroud would rather stay at Arsenal and we are left scratching our heads, like last season.

In my opinion, this squad, without any additions and I'm mainly looking at the centre forward position, won't finish in the top 7 next season.

I think 7th is a given, what is more concerning is trying to move forward in the table. We are becoming rel;iant on teams above us being weakened:

RS losing Coutinho and injuries to Lallana and Sturridge (a given)
Arsenal losing Sanchez and anyone of a number of others
Spurs having Alli nicked off them, as well as Dier

I'd say Citeh, Urinated and Chelski are sitting pretty for top 3, but we have to be lucky with injuries and transfers for us to progress. But not necessarily our activity!

So who else is on the striker list and why does there seem to be a lack of urgency regarding a forward? Is that why Ron was putting the pressure on yesterday?

Worst insight ever. Sorry.
