We've been liked with Bost, Willian Jose, Raul Jimenez, Jorgensen from Feyenord - who I didn't think was clod to our level, yet I concede looked better the other day than I gave him credit for, Dzeko, Batshuayi, Giroud, Kyle Larin (laughable), Max Kruse, Barbosa, Bacca, Zapata, Josh King, etc.

We were never linked with Larin I just popped his name in for fun.

...not sure it was any of them, big galoot of a bloke. I am old and my memory is shocking, but the transfer looked on. I think the lad might have got an improved contract with his club.

If you're thinking of Belfodil then Koeman won't be revisiting that option as he met him in January and didn't like his character so pulled the plug.
 
I don't think the mention of a winger was a slip he wasn't referring to Sig either. I think we need another one. So four players if McCarthy moves on, and given he has barely been involved in pre season its possible.

..yes, that was an interesting one. He says 3 players (a left sided CB who can also play LB; a winger; and a forward), the big question is whether that's in addition to Sigurdsson. I would hope it is. Personally, I can only see a Sigurdsson playing no10.
