The players we have signed have all been a given in one way or another. We haven't gone out yet and signed a player in actual competition with another better club, all players were getting the best/only deal they were getting offered.

I would usually agree but in this instance I beg to differ. He was going back out on loan anyway no matter who he signed for and with crap like awobigetting played at Arsenal. I'd be inclined to believe he would get just as much game time with them as with us.

they should move on to other targets. it feels like we have only had one name on our list for the last month and got no where except talk of 35mill gone to 50mill. Swansea knokw we are willing to pay through through the nose for him. we need a CB and striker more i reckon

Is it not enough for Koeman to explicitly say he's looking for a center forward? He's not Rom's replacement.

Welbeck would be superb for the dozen games he would play for us around his injuries. At this point I'd even be happy with giroud who I wasn't keen on to begin with!

I have a problem with the fact that the replacement hasn't been brought in yet despite lukaku being lined up for united months ago.

Calvert lewin is miles from being good enough to start. Rooney is washed up and Sandro untested.

He's received 95m to spend on a replacement which if we're not selling to buy is a huge sum to persuade a team to sell.

50m at benteke would do for a start. Deadly in the air. 26 years old. Loves a goal against the reds. Can hold the ball up and will have the best service in the league from sigurdsson. Scored 15 in 36 for a joke of a palace side.
