Even based on the second half, I have no idea where Gylfi would even play on the pitch. Wayyyy too narrow.

Think we'd go 4-3-3 with him, DCL/new striker, and Sandro as the front. I quite like that actually.

Aparently Spurs have bid for Martial. He clearly does not look he be in the managers plans. Surprised We did not try and do a deal as part of the Rom transfer. Can play left in a 3 and as a central striker

You were right the first time mate, the cry arses won't have it because they aren't capable of objective thinking

Need another centre Half. Would make a bigger difference than another midfielder imo. Left side of defence can be improved more drastically than any other position.

given that it is now as plain as a pikestaff that the Mosh aint putting any of his own dosh into the club, I hope the club think long and hard before splashing out on Siggi and a bog standard cf for 80-90m. Rooney was a terrific no 10 today, and I reckon he's good for another 18 months. Also, DCL, lets give him a go this season. He was terrific today, would Benteke at 45m really be such an upgrade, I reckon he'd get you an extra 5-7 league goals a season, but with none of the link up play.So save the money for an outstanding centre half and left back next season

Baines wasn't great today and I think we need some real competition for him.

If only we'd go out and get VVD to partner Keane - we'd be a different side.

I haven't seen him enough to really say. He's supposed to be a good player, can't imagine him costing more than £20m at most.
