well i hoped he would, but seem he doesn't now. Giroud's about 4th choice for a team also in europa, mandzukic is still a regular starter for last season's champions league finalists, so not exactly in the same situation.

Hmm he just signed a professional contract in May for three years. Haven't seen it anywhere in the national press, so seems quite unlikely. I found it in one domestic paper, but they put a big square under it saying that the info isn't reliable since it's coming from a dubious newspaper - starts with S.

Nice idea - but he signed on a permanent deal for Anderlecht after his loan there.

Oh he'll be available quite cheap I reckon. Discount, since he's making 3 million €/season and isn't doing anything off note.
