Summer Transfer Window 2017

.....with 13 days and 19 hours of the window left here's a very early round-up of rumours for this Friday morning;

- Plenty of outlets pick up on the comments Ronald Koeman made about being open to taking Diego Costa on loan from Chelsea.

- ESPN suggest Everton are keen on Borussia Dortmund's Turkish winger Emre Mor who's transfer to Inter Milan looks to have failed.

- According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea and Spurs are still keen on Everton midfielder Ross Barkley and will battle for his signature before this window closes.

- 4th Official report Newcastle interest in Everton winger Aaron Lennon.

- 'GET German Football' suggest Premier League interest in Schalke 04 defender, Benedikt Howedes. No club is mentioned, but given the German international defenders versatility, rumours are being directed at Everton.

Problem with being a cash rich club is the journalism is lazy now. It's like our name is included in every bit of gossip for a player outside of the elite clubs.

Howedes would be a great signing.

Feels a bit greedy to want another two in but Koeman will push for them and rightly so. We won't have another opportunity like this I feel.

Hard to believe the squad looks so different from 12 months ago but it's what we needed.

Howedes would be a brilliant signing for only 18m as well. Imagine just for a minute getting him and Dendoncker both in - be an absolute beast of a spine to the team, and give us a lot of physical presence too, throw in a bid for Dolberg with Ajax looking like crashing out of Europe, and then loan Costa till January to ease Dolbergs pressure in adjusting first season.

Funny thing is that financially it'd cost less than 70m to do all that

Ajax in a mess and concrete interest in some of the players could we try for dolberg. Milan are linked. Talent wise ticks all the boxes so will Koeman go for more promise than experience

Be amazed if Mirallas goes, and to be honest if we get to the point where he's firmly on our bench then our first XI must be very handy.

Can only see us signing 2 more which would take us up to 9 first team signings (ignoring Henry), and it's very rare a club makes that many in one window.

Think you're right about the other 3 potentially going, and I'd add Barkley and maybe even Lennon to that but then we might be a bit short.

It's probably more towards the end of the window ( what date is it btw ? ) that we get a striker as other clubs will move for players etc.

I don't know why we aren't going for bony unless it's as he's already agreed to go to Swansea or we aren't interested lol

Both Baines and Martina put in some good crosses yesterday and with Sigurdsson to come into the team we were crying out for a proper CF yesterday. Hopefully the club is working overtime to get one in.
