Just seen a stat, in his last 8 games he has scored 3 goals and had 5 assists and that's for a relegation threatened side. He has that ability to unlock a packed defence, something we desperately lacked yesterday and numerous times this season.

Think it would have to be gylfi or Ross in the attacking 3 depending on opposition or could put him in the midfield 3 if chasing a game... would add something to us

We need 2.
Pennington could step up but that is still an unknown.

If we want top 4 we need more agility and mobility than Mori and Williams.

Holgate is the only one guaranteed and he is better deployed in a 3.

There are many options though from Keane, VVD, Gibson and McGuire who could instantly improve that position.

No way of knowing that though, pretty sure neither Swansea or Iceland EVER face teams packing a defence against them.

Good player obviously, but to draw a conclusion like that based on his form for Swansea is flawed logic.

Maybe flawed logic but did you see his pass for swansea's second goal today? No one in our team is capable of that. He undoubtedly offers something we don't currently have.

It was on though wasnt it for me barkley could do it too his pass to lookman was quality.

I like sigurdsson he is a cracking player but I want a different type of additional creative player to support barkley.

Siggurdson is very good at dead balls scores goals etc but I want a mata silva nasri type to compliment our current players & take us to the next level.

We need someone who can help create & control games someone we can give the ball to when we're leading and they just keep moving it turning away not letting the opposition get into the game. For me he isn't really that type of player he is very good just prefer a real skilful creative player who drifts in from wide.

That brazilian lad ciao emerson can sign on his 18th birthday ! been looking and think hes 18 on 18th feb ! as hes not allowed to sign a pro contract until 18 it could mean he can join then rather than in the summer ? think hes one for future anyway rather than 1st teamer if he did sign for us !

Just checked sigurdson out on squawka he reallly isn't a playmaker he has end product but he averages 28 touches per 90 minutes.

I know there is an argument to suggest he would be more productive if he played on a side with more of the ball but Swansea do play football & he isn't involved anywhere near as much as I expected.

Barkley has on average 48 touches per game I think they could play together just rather a player with sigursdson end product who gets more involved in the play unfortunately those players are few & far between.
