Summer Transfer Window 2017

Surely if we offer him as a free transfer - the buying club are likely to match or increase his wages as they aren't paying a fee?
doubtful as for most clubs who would be interested in him (i.e. mediocre ones) it would smash their wage structure, and hes probably no better or even worse than what they've already got.

He wouldn't accept a free transfer while he is on 50k a week and still has 3 years of a contract left. We're totally stuck with him until he is prepared to take a hit on his wages

That's why it takes time, even 5/6 transfer windows to build a Koeman squad. Deadwoods take up wages and it's real hard to get rid of them permanently. Niasse being the prime case.

Real nightmare. Once he's finally gone he'll have cost us about 20 million all in, minimum. Thanks Roberto lad, great signing.

By next summer, Besic and Funes Mori will be at the club due to injury. Holgate may be a back-up. Almost all signings from the previous regime are gone. While a couple of Moyes's old guards are still serving the club well. Tell you how good are those signings.

Personally I don't want to see Costa stroll around the pitch for 4 months. The fellas a header and has no motivation to get stuck in, leave him on the beach in Rio and get someone hungry to impress.

Barkley - Spurs with a low bid on deadline day. Lennon - we may want to get rid on perm but Waford want loan. McCarthy - nothing. Newcastle are skint. Robles - always thought he is going back to Spain? Niasse - as you said hopefully on perm.
Newcastle skint? Not disagreeing, but given their crowds and TV monies, that would be egregious mismanagement. They might as well start checking Championship fixtures again.

Giroud is more than proven in the PL, while most Celtic fans doesnt think Dembele ready for the PL. Paying tons for an unproven guy scoring a lot in Scotland is a huge gamble.

Scored goals everywhere, can only do that nothing more.

Also Celtic fans sing RS songs and have a former RS manager...says it all.
