Yea but that volley he scored against Blackpool. Worth his wages alone since he was a nominal fee/free (can't remember). Not that I'm saying we should've signed Wood.

Overall goals throughout career.

Lucas Perez 1 in 4
Willian Jose 1 in 4
Raul Jiminez 1 in 3
Mousa Dembele 1 in 2
Bas Dost. 1 in 2

Obviously Dembele only scored in the Championship & Scotland.
Perez & Jose have played in La liga but also been at a fair few lower clubs.
Jiminenez is obviously talented but seems to have stalled somewhat.
Dost looks to have consistently scored wherever he has played. More of a target man than the other 4 plus scores plenty.

I'd be happy with any of them tbh.
If its right Koeman & Walsh want the big target man tho Das Boot does fit the bill.
Hard part is trying to get deal done with any Portugese clubs.

He can also play CB too and help cover that area. Not sure he could cover LB though. He is very much two footed but prefers his right. Over 6ft, good in the air, quick, built like a rock and passes the ball better than a young Ronald Koeman. And apparently has said he wants to play under Koeman. Yes please.

The Bas Dost story is from months ago though isn't it? Haven't anything about us being linked with him for a while

I thought Beckford did all right and he and cost buttons (even at the contemporary prices prevailing).

And he scored at The Pit.

Plus his long run for the goal against Chelsea is one of my favourites ;)
