I have learnt from another poster saying basically they need to generate the funds within the club so for me without much money to spend that is skint in a way. However, they did spend about £15m net so you are not incorrect by saying Ash is tight.

I agree. Striker is the priority.

Personally there is no one to rely on if Gana and Schneiderlin are out. Davies is not a defensive type midfielder. And we can't rely on Besic neither. Both him and McCarthy are injured proned and am not sure about them. I used to think McCarthy is ok as a squad player but since he is merely available for Ireland. The ship has sealed.

Agree just don't think it would hurt to bin him off if there's a decent offer forthcoming from someone, he must be fifth choice by now yet still one of our higher earners

Which is the best thing of Barry. He can do a job (against top 8) and is always available when called upon.
