This left back situation is very interesting. If we are really after Kolasinac, than obviously Koeman thinks Baines is done. Kolasinac is a fighter type and would never come here to play second fiddle. Otherwise we should be going for a prospect like Chilwell.

Is that not the lad Arsenal already have an agreement with?

It in no way means Koeman thinks Baines is done fgs.

We're going to have a lot of games next season and the aim is to have very good players to rotate.

You are right, but the question is who will be used in the big games. If we have at least 50-55 games next season, one will play 35-40, and the other 15-20. Kolasinac is in no way the latter type.

Flog Rom for £85-90 million and bring in Dembele from Celtic for £25-30 million. Leaves us with a pot of cash to bring in another 2-3 quality attacking players to support him.

For me after Van Dijk and Wanyama he's worth the gamble and gamble is what we'll have to do anyway.

Smashed them in for Fulham in the Championship last season so even less of a risk in my opinion.

Déjà vu

"Everton hopeful of Rachid Ghezzal deal

Premier League side Everton remain hopeful of concluding the signing of Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal on a free transfer this summer when his contract expires, according to RMC.

The Toffees were blocked in the final transfer window of 2016 from signing the player, despite offering good money for a man who had one year left on his deal at the time.

Ghezzal has yet to rule out signing an extension with Les Gones, in a relationship between club and player that has been slowly deteriorating month after month since last summer."

I thought he knocked us back ?

See a lot of media sources gushing about the 16 year old Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon making Championship Team of the Year.
Any good? Could learn his trade well under Baines...

Think for the likes of Heaton, Pickford, etc it's easy to look good as they are invariably busier than keepers at the top end of the league.

Remember everyone said we should sign David Marshall as he was having a good season for Cardfiff? Same principle really

I'm not saying Joe Hart is perfect, but City fans liked him and I'd rather have a keeper who has performed for a top side than one who has been saving shots all season because he plays for a side who face loads of them.

No.

This is my list and doable and all these players are in their early to mid 20's and would elevate the side.

Timo Werner.
Isco.
Julian Brandt.
Naby Keita.

The 3 german based players have been linked with the RS and identified by Klopp...We should go all out and get all 3 show who the new power on Merseyside is with a statement of intent like that.

I'm not sure where these calls for Isco are coming from? He wont leave madrid....

I'd definitely go big for brandt...worth a try.
