The type of goalkeeper we want is not the one who can make loads of saves in a game but one who regularly wins points for saves instead.
As mentioned above, lower league keepers get more shots at them because the defence is usually crap. However there is a reason why David Marshall and John ruddy are playing their trade in the lower leagues despite being solid goalkeepers and the likes of Dr tea and courtois are worth millions. We need a goal keeper who wins us points not saves shots. Most keepers can save shots, it's their job. But a keeper who can save points, considering out defence will hopefully not be crap, is what we need to be chasing. Robles isn't that that, he never will be and a new keeper is massively important this summer.
