If by 1st team football he means starting every game then he won't be coming to us. He's good but he's no better than our starting "3" of Gana, Davies and Morgan from all I've seen over the last few seasons.

Jesus where was the essay warning. I see what you're saying but what you're talking about are keepers behind brilliant defences which ours isn't. Who's to say if Pickford - for example - was at Chelsea and did nothing for 89 minutes he wouldn't save that last minute goalbound shot?

And by the same reckoning would Cortouis not look a freak shot stopper if he played for Sunderland?

We can only assess a keeper based on what we see them do behind the defences they've got.

If you're not a fan of Pickford or Hart or whoever else is mentioned. Which of this last-minute saving keepers do you want?

I would want us to be going after the cech goalkeepers before they move to the big clubs. We were after chech before he went to Chelsea so signing a top keeper isn't too difficult with some scouting before hand. The Italian lad we were looking at , perhaps he could well be a decent keeper for us. Never seen him play mind yoi

Yes but with EL and cups he will have a better chance of playing at us than he will do at Real, Juve, City etc. Dont think he's saying he has to play every week just that he doesnt want to sit on the bench for 2 months at a time either.

Oh yeh definitely. Wasn't saying don't go for him just when you look at our starting 'base' midfield I wouldn't be swapping any of them out for all these hipster European misfielders.
