Wot's he said ?If we are hoping to wait until the end of the window in the hope of getting VVD then it would be a masterstroke.
From the way Koeman is talking though it sounds like were after another Williams/cuco type stopgap.

Looks too inconsistent mate.
Meh. He's as raw and inconsistent as Lookman.Gray per chance?
Good post. I've always thought you go with the old Cloughie adage, build a strong spine. To that end we needed a goalie, two centre halves and a striker, so far we've got a goalie and one centre half and we've spent £70 million on a couple of midfielders. Now we may get those players in but he's leaving it very late.Yes you cant build a team from scratch in a season, however you can use common sense and see;
A -- You don't play 3 at the back against the master of this formation (Conte) who knows how to beat it
B -- If you sign a top keeper and centre back then you should ensure that another top centre back is signed or theres a huge gap
C -- Never have a 32 year old left back and only Cuco Martina as cover
D -- If you play 2 old centre backs and an old wing back then you will sit deep so start with a target man
I don't buy into this 'Striker is key' talk from Koeman. We need to improve the defence so we can play a high line...if not we will sit deep and need to play long balls all day long.
Difficult finding a winger who isnt (although that's part of Walsh's job). Just we've been linked with Gray this window.

Sounds more like a nightmare mate!I'm sure I saw £25/30m quoted for him though, is he worth that, could be wrong on the price though mate, and just dreamt it.
Ah but he does like Cloughie!Zat doesn't like 'old'
Sounds more like a nightmare mate!
I want no part in this.
We won't get Costa as he has set his heart on a return to Madrid,we won,t pay 45 million and a loan won,t be worth it as he is well out of shape at present and can join Madrid in January.I'm gonna stick my knackers on the chopping block and say we will get Costa in one way or another by the close of this window.
Gibson?
lolIt's worse when I wake up in a cold sweat, and the first thing I see is my missus mate, doubly scary!
