To be honest it's only the Neymar transfer that has distorted the prices being asked for players. However surprise, surprise the RS look to be one of the main beneficiaries of this Neymar transfer, as prior to it happening they'd probably be lucky to get 70m for Coutinho. Now they could get in excess of 130m. However we have reached the situation whereby we still haven't replaced lukaku, but clubs seeing the money we got for lukaku will now see us as desperate to get someone in and ask silly prices. 30m for the Cardiff striker proving the point.
