Summer Transfer Window 2017

I don't know, going by values in the press and social media it could be. Leno I think as a £19m release clause that kicks in this summer, Trippier as been valued at around £5-6m but I think he'd be available at around about £7-8m or even more as Spurs and Levy don't sell cheap. Keane £25m, Gibson as high as £30m apparently but could be closer to Keane's value and Sigurdsson could be anything between £25-35m?! But I think it'll be between £25-30m. So add it all up and for those it could be costly, roughly around £100m or more?!

If we have a billionaire owner £100m is fine.

I just find it hard to fathom that there was a young player in our academy who we had no chance of signing. Moyes didn't fancy him is the more likely answer.

No, he didn't want to stay as there wasn't a clear path to first team football. He's spoken about it in interviews before.

Tielemans would have to play the exact same role as Davies, and considering that in Davies we already have a teenage attack-minded CM potential star, I'm STILL baffled why people keep banging on about Tielemans. Why would we bring in basically the exact same player profile except for the fact that he's never played in the prem and isn't a boyhood blue?

I'm not sure I agree with that. Yes I think he's gonna be a great player, but an attack minded CM? I see him as a box to box player that gets about the pitch, wants to put a foot in but can see and pick a pass. Not sure he's one of those CM's with double figure goals in him a season, not yet from what I've seen anyway, although he is the only CM in our team that does break forward and beyond Lukaku into the box.

But I think we'll bring in a more attack minded CM to do that and add goals to the team and then it'll be a battle between Davies & Gueye to make the team alongside Schneiderlin & a new CM signing (Sigurdsson, Tielemans?).

Based on current "semi-realistic" transfer rumours

IN'S

Pickford
Tripper
Keane/Van Djik
Dendoncker/Tielemans
Sigurdsson
Rooney
Abraham

OUT'S

Niasse
Deulofeu
McCarthy
McGeady
Lukaku
The crazy/annoying thing is that Leno is a better goalie who would cost less than Pickford. We seem to have blinders on for Schmeichel/Pickford and its really perturbing me.

Koeman wants to keep a tight first team squad and I get the impression that he will use the U23/youth.

We have Jagelka, Barry and Baines coming to the peak or just over the hill in terms of Premiership 1st team.

We have youth to step into their shoes:
Jagelka:
Holgate/Pennington/Browning
Barry:
Baningime/Dowell/Grant
Baines:
Galloway/Garbett

Zlaton being out for 9 months may intensify thier pursuit of Lukaku, if of course they are interested

I don't think Utd will be, Mourinho knows all about Rom and still sold him regardless of having the likes of Eto'o & Torres as strikers at Chelsea. Mourinho likes a CF that can hold up the ball and link play, aswell as score goals. Lukaku gets goals but struggles to get a grip of the ball and link the play and Mourinho didn't like that about Lukaku and said as such when ever he was questioned upon letting Rom come to us on loan originally, practically saying it's not just about goals in a CF for him.

After Zlatan's injury it seems Utd have intensified a move to sign Belotti...
