Summer Transfer Window 2017

Pretty sure Abraham plays for England at Under 21 and 19.

If you compare records Abraham has scored a lot more in the Championship and is the most prolific teenager ever in the Championship. To say he would flop and Dembele would'nt is not something I'd agree with.

I was on about Dembele.

I'd take most keepers in the Bundesliga tbh and they're not that expensive usually.

Horn, Baumann, Fahrmann, Leno, Hradecky etc. all decent.

I don't think that's the best example to be honest because they went from a slip away from the title to sacking the manager .

As it happens I think we'll probably do ok in that we'll completely adjust out frontline . whereas we are currently set up for lukaku I'd expect a new system nowhere near as reliant on one man.
Deffo the way to Harry !! I personally think we are far too reliant on Rom, He has a poor game we generally seem to also.

As our season will start early next year with European football, we will have to sign players very early in the transfer window. With the topic of lukaku leaving or staying if he plays for us in europa league does that mean he is unavailable to play any other european match with another team??

1984-85 should be our prototype in my opinion ,all our forwards chipped in whilst not being highly prolific, they all their own added dimensions to the "team", Sharpie learnt so much from Gray, he could hold the ball up and bring others into the game, Gray was a rumbustious raging bull who knew how to preserve himself with his dodgy knees, Inchy was a buzzing pest to the opposition as bright as a button, then you had Sheeds and Tricky Trev, creating and chipping in 10/15 goals each, Degsy Mountfield ghosting in as a third striker must have got 10/12 goals himself from Centre Back, even Shaggy Stevens chipped in with a few from right back, remember the next season whilst we remained a very good side, we won nothing with a serial goalscorer in Lineker, and of course when he left and Inchy came back, assisted by Wayne Clarke laterally in 1987,we won it again,a few tweaks here and there and it doesn't necessarily mean we fall to bits "if" Lukaku departs.

Yeah but i often see the comment about winning either side of Lineker being there, which ignores one crucial thing, we where flying in the league and would have won the thing if Southall hadn't been injured playing for Wales. 8 points clear in February

Think both of them can be said to having negligible international experience so pointless to compare.

Sometimes you just have a gut instinct about a player. Some people predicted Van Dijk to be a flop in this league whilst others had a feeling he'll be a revelation. Others had the same feeling for Funes Mori.

Nothing wrong with that and it's all opinions, my opinion or feeling in my stomach is that Dembele can be a 15 a season goal scorer in this league whilst Abraham whilst a talented looking kid, will struggle in the PL against tighter defences with higher quality of defenders than the championship. Dembele absolutely shown Man City up in the CL for me he's worth the gamble. Celtic have scouted some decent players tbf to them in recent years with Van Dijk and Wanyama.
