Tbh Lukaku wanted to leave the previous summer. We had told him we'd sell him the following summer if he still wanted out. If we start going back on things like that, then it makes a world of problems for ourselves, not least in trying to sign players.

In terms of this window, to bring in Sandro, Rooney, Sigurdsson and Klaasan, for so much money, players who all want to be in the same part of the pitch, and who all lack pace and physical presence, that is sackable tbh. Be it Walsh or Koeman.
