If you think so, fair enough. I actually think he'd be a good buy. Not as a main player but if we signed, say, a van Dijk and him, I'd be more than happy with that.

Same height as that dodgy keeper we had who used to be a bin man.

Same height as that dodgy Real Madrid keeper with 167 caps for Spain.

Taller than that dodgy Italian keeper from the 70s with 106 caps.

Not saying Pickford is great but his height shouldn't be an issue given some of the all time greats are the same size.

Tell you what I can name you many great keepers and they are all tall guys. You are using 2/3 rare cases to show a point and I am not convinced. I rather our new keeper has a strong physical presence.

Mbdoji the lad is a big unit alright.. there are loads of good centre backs out there at the moment.. The lad from Hull would not be my first choice but I think he is a good player..

I don't think we will get VVD either but trying for players was what made the last summer window so awful, no wasting time on players we are only trying for, we need to go for ones from the first day were more likely to get.

Tbf Kristof as good sources and knows his stuff. And he doesn't say he's signed, just that there's an agreement. According to someone Kristof knows, Tielemans is due to have a medical in Monaco after the Belgian season is over and that Tielemans decided against a move to the prem a bit a go as its not the right time in his career to go there....

Yes I know mate most of the time he's correct; in essence he just makes a recap of what was in the Belgian newspapers. He's just saying what was in Le Soir and other newspapers. He could have just linked to the RSCA press conference with TIelemans or such and there the RSCA general manager gave the same information.

Anyhow Monaco would be the logical choice; his kind of football, same language ... The other teams who're trying to hijack this transfer will find it difficult to dissuade him.
