Yeah, If we could convince him of game time with Rom - great signing.

Think part of our difficulties in getting another striker in, has been getting someone who is prepared to be behind Rom, as we also often do play with one out and out striker and advanced wide players.

Like Gabbadini we'll have let slip another good striker to a rival side whilst we chase an ageing Rooney. Makes no sense to me.

Romelu plays the best when we play 2 strikers upfront. He said he would love to play with Rooney too. I am quite sure we are going to play 4-3-1-2 longterm. That means we need 4-5 stikers in the club. Lukaku, Rooney, Lookman, DCL. Probably no place for a striker like Batshuayi, he is too good to be a backup here. I wouldn't mind him though, he played in 4-4-2 formation quite often in Marseille.

Sounds like they're weighing it up between Pickford and Schmeichel. Happy with either to be fair.

Schmeichel is way behind Joel and Pickford is pointless as he is only at the same stage in his development asJoel only a few inch smaller with less clean sheets. Schmeichel is only rated because of his dads,be a shocking waste of money
