I know what you mean but we went for those players because we had no money and a poor squad and couldnt get anyone else, going for Rooney he will not be a main player in the squad. Lukaku is the main man, with Idrisa, Barkley and Morgan all first name on the team sheet, he will just be slotted in someone amoung them all, I also think Lookman could learn from Rooney

If he's a box to box, I suppose if we moved on Besic and McCarthy it would make a lot of sense. 2 or 3 play out of Gueye, Davies, Schneiderlin, and Tielmans.
