Koeman has been very blunt on his assessment of the squad and of those two players in particular.

Nobody has yet bid for Lukaku - or at least come in with an offer that would test our resolve. It's a long window though, clearly.

Barkley's future is going to be sorted one way or the other in the coming days.

I'm hoping he's gonna stay but if he does get sold, I don't think it will be the huge blow that some are saying - as long as he is replaced with quality players.

I don't think anyone will meet our valuation for Lukaku.

I can see it dragging on until late August when clubs will throw in lower bids and hope Lukaku throws a strop and we accept it.

I think that RK wants to keep Lukaku for at least one more year and will only consider selling for silly money like the 100m that is being mentioned. I think if Lukaku is to go it will happen early as it will give Everton a chance to replace him quickly. At this stage I think we will get one more season out of him. We need a second striker anyway and maybe even two.
