Spurs pay a base low wage, with very high bonuses - including some which are very very easy to hit the targets to activate
Yeah, so in reality as long as the players perform as expected they'll be earning way more than what Everton and teams below us (with a few exceptions) are paying their players.

I doubt it. Spurs have won nothing! Why would their best players stay for 70k a week when they see their fellow England internationals earning double in the same city or over in Manchester? Perhaps their players are on huge performance bonuses too alongside their relatively low standard wage.

Probably. And they might get ichy feet at some point if they don't win anything.

But look at Atletico Madrid. I don't think they've got players on huge wages and for the most part keep their Koke' and Gabi's due to competing.

Are we sure Spurs genuinely pay their players about two thirds less than the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, etc? I'm sure their players all enjoy playing for them, but would they really stay at a club on comparatively tiny contracts when inferior players at other clubs are earning millions more? I've never believed that Spurs have such a small wage budget.

Here's the wages from the official accounts from all the clubs... we pay about half the wages of Arsenal. There's a huge gap from the big 5 back to us. These include bonuses etc.

Think he wants to stay by all accounts, but the problem is his wife wants out of Italy and has already left and living back home in Belgium mate.

Career wise he is working for the perfect manager for him and don't see this seasons form being replicated elsewhere

Would still have him though an amazing little player

What I thought the latest development was that he cheated on her. I should try and keep up. Yesterday she was present at the gala for the Belgian Jupiler Pro League Footballer of the year (Tielemans won) without him so I think it's over. Maybe she got a picture with Martinez.

They confirmed btw that Tielemans is doing his medical today/tomorrow in Monaco.

Oh Dendoncker seems to want out btw (https://m.hln.be/sport/voetbal/belg...mann-60-kans-dat-ik-naar-man-utd-ga~a7da2d60/ ) , the Anderlecht manager confirmed that they'll receive multiple bids from European top clubs but that they'll try and keep him but that they don't want an argument with the player. Man U seems to want him as the Carrick (Michael) successor.
