Has anyone actually seen much of Martina?

Just fleeting performances in past couple of seasons, he's had good games and bad. Last I saw of him this season was against Inter away in the Europa and he played well and I don't think he's been near the first team since. Not sure if he was injured or not?

Not seen much myself, remember him scoring a belter against Arsenal last season i think?

With Roma targeting Lindelof and other centre backs (article in the Express) maybe Manolas is departing?

Think Spalletti wants to take him to Inter, although recently Manolas as said he wants to stay at Inter?!....

Tbf he was poor tonight, but he wasn't the only one. Just the 2 CB's and Ziyech showed up well tonight, especially Sanchez. Beast of a CB, plenty of pace and power. No wonder Koeman wanted him last summer!....

We sign Martina whilst West Ham sign Pablo Zabaletta. Oh dear.

We don't need Zab though. We just need someone to hold the fort down until Seamus gets back. Kenny looks a good prospect and Martina would provide adequate cover. On a free its a no-brainer

Exactly....ambitions...not. I think we are going to be badly disappointed for the third consecutive transfer window under moshiri. It doesn't look good...perhaps we will sign sigurdson to announce then than Ross is leaving...

If we got trippier or Cedric, i honestly think Coleman wouldn't get back in the 11. Be good to have two boss right backs though

People need to forget about Trippier, he's going to be Spurs No.1 RB next season!....

How long is seamus out for? Would imagine he won't be fully match fit for at least several months, no point buying a crap player as 'cover', if you're going to buy buy quality if not play kenny or holgate

Neither does Dolberg but they're both class acts.

United are restricting any space. Ziyech - another excellent player - has hardly had a kick either.

Klaassen isn't and never will be a player who runs games. However, he does link play well and is adept at getting into good attacking positions. Note that the three chances Ajax have had, he was involved after making a run into the box.

Exactly, not many of the Ajax players had a good night tonight. But what I liked about Klaassen tonight was that he was always willing to go and get in and around the box and into good attacking positions from CM. We don't have a CM like that, the closest we have really is Davies but I wouldn't say he was an attack minded CM.

Klaassen is a good player and gets plenty of goals from midfield and we lack goals from the centre of the park.

Martina fits in the 'swerve' category.

The swerve he put on this one was quite nice...I fail to understand how signing a backup with prem experience on a free when our alternative is Holtgate has people upset. Not every signing is going to be a top player. We're not Real.

Would not mind seeing Kenny getting a run at rb and he may still do but with Seamie out for a good few months of the season signing a back up experienced right back for free isn't the end of the world.
