Having those 3 options for the wide areas is decent for me.

No but who do you bench? Who would be happy not starting every game? Agree we need depth but they’re all 3 starting forwards for me.

This will be his last chance to sign for a good team on good wages. Next season when Ajax are mediocre again he will be forgotten even if he scores 15 goals and bags 15 assists. Then he’ll never get out until some Spanish or French league team like Celta Vigo or Marseille comes knocking willing to give him a try

If we sign Neres that’s means Rich is back up front and I just don’t rate him much in that position.

Although Bernard, Richarlison & Neres is a sexy forward 3.

If we brought neres in then Bernard will have to either up his game or become a bench warmer.

The whole point of recruitment for me is to bring in players who will improve our starting 11 and push our seasons before starting 11 to the bench. Or young players for the future of course.

We have more pressing positions to fill rather than a winger IMO.

I’m not 100% on Neres. And reckon he will take a good while to settle over here unless he really hits the ground running.

For me we need good players everywhere. That will mean the most in form ones start, and the one missing out does everything to try and displace them.

Having said all that.

Still don’t think we’ll get Neres!
