I'd wait until the ACN is over and see how he does. If Nigeria do well and he plays some part in most games, it will strengthen our chances of obtaining a work permit and also shouldn't have any negative effect on Bayern's value of him.

Not about who we’ve been linked with though, is it? It’s been widely acknowledged that we did our business under the radar as much as possible last year. I doubt we’d sell if we didn’t have a replacement lined up.

I'd much prefer it Marco took a look at him first. When we bought him PSG were in the running and Bayern have been linked a few times over the last 12 months. He has electric pace and can finish, two very good attributes that are natural and can't be taught. I'm in the give him a chance camp myself.
