I'd rather us sell players that actually need selling. Two of them are still on relatively small wages, are young and have great potential, we need to be trying to get rid of the ones on massive wages. There's also the fact that if we sold those 3 we'd need to buy another 2 or 3 wingers. Think we'd sell one for the right price, but no more.

Mirallas, Sandro and Bolasie are the same positions, further away from the first team and on bigger wages.
We still need to generate actual money though. Nobody's paying proper money for those three, so you have to look elsewhere to raise funds. I would have thought a lad who hasn't been able to break into the team in 2 and a half years and a bloke we can't even pick if we wanted to would be pretty high on the list of candidates for that.

PSV signing Bruma, looks a belter that lad.

Always wondered why we dont go for these players at source. Rtaher than 40 million on Lozano, 15 million for Bruma.

For £15 mil is he better value than Neres for £50 mil? Or Traore for £25 mil? It does look like we are definitely targeting a left footed RW!

Our team needs a step change in new acquisitions to break through the ceiling. Its hard to do without offloading big money as the margins are so small in quality players.. its not to decide who gives the most value but who is the better player and who will contribute more to us becoming successful (within our affordability framework).. If Neres is the better player and would be a factor in taking us to the next level, that's who we should be after. We can work out cost per goal, or whatever, and it looks better value but it might end up 5 goals light of a European spot.
The numbers are all so eye watering when it comes down to it anyway.

I remember him and that Belgian lad Bakkali being my wingers on my Everton career FIFA 13, 2 absolute superstars they were

You can only sell players people are willing to buy my friend and let's be honest nobody is buying sandro, bolasie and mirallas unfortunately.

Walcott is 30 and doesn't suit how we play, onyekuru isn't getting a visa this year, probably not next year either to be honest with the games he's missing in the AFCON. Lookman doesn't want to he here and has a attitude problem by the looks of it.

If we could sell them three and bring in neres and kean I'd be all for that. I don't think we'd need another winger either think there are players who can fill in in a emergency that we wouldn't miss them too much.

Yeah, he looks really good in the video. Great technique and shoots with both feet. I hope we get him. Would be a bargain for £15m

To score 22 goals in any league as a winger, and as a teenager, you have something about you. Deffo looks Robben esque. Can’t really find any decent source saying we want him though unfortunately.

Think the wages are more of an issue tbh, I know we need to generate money, but selling 10 players who won't even make match day squads for small fees will benefit us a lot more than a couple of big fees. The wages are a constant flow of cash out.

No links for us, only Spurs. He’s only got 12 months left so I dare say £15m is too much. They’re a selling club but they’ve never sold for that much before. Notable former sales:

Stanislav Lobotka - £4.5m
Marcus Ingvartsen - £4.5m
Emre Mor - £8.5m
Mathias Jensen - £4.5m
Runar Runarsson - £1.5m

I'd rather keep Lookman myself too. But if he keeps making noises about wanting to leave because he's not working hard enough to earn a place in the side then SEE YA! son.

Being pragmatic we have very few expendable assets with any resale value. Lookman is one of them.Whatever his potential may be, it's unachieved at present. So if we can turn a profit on someone who doesn't want to knuckle down and play for us then we shouldn't grumble at the management for that.

No-one is touching Mirallas, Bolasie or Sandro with a sh11ty stick. Certainly not paying their wages AND giving us any manner of transfer fee. If we can get away with paying 20%/30% of their salary for then remainder of their contracts and them leaving on a free so they're not our problem I'd consider that a massive win at the moment.
