The key signing has to be Zouma. Keeps the defence ticking over from last season and means we dont have any real upheaval there.

Then Kessie would form an interesting midfield with Gomes. At 22 and 25 its a lot younger than Schneiderlin and Gana.

Likewise Neres and Kean for Walcott and Tosun.

A lot of movement there, would cost a fortune but the targets individually dont seem too unlikely.

Zouma: If Chelsea said he wasnt for sale then surely we wouldnt have the constant rumours.

Kessie: Hasnt reached his potential in Milan but still just 22.

Kean: Well publicised about the year left on his deal and also of course Raiola.

The only real big money outlay would be for Neres but again its a strong possibility as he fits the bill

My reading of the situation is that the Neres situation is around price currently. Ajax will want top dollar, but currently none of the big boys have really come in for him.

The left field suggestion is Malcolm instead of Neres. He will be a lot cheaper which I can see appealing to Brands.

Glad we are looking to zouma in following Gomes, but I’m hoping a centre forward is very much on the radar. We will never crack the top 6 with DCL as our main striker.

Mate, we made top 4 with Marcus Bent upfront. Yes, I'd love a beast upfront smashing in 25 goals a season however a clever link man to bring our other proven scorers into play can be just as beneficial.

Has my preffered choice as well to be honest. More creative and has played in the French leauge which is just as physical if not more so then the premier league.

He’s at Juve?
Umtiti had been consistently one of the top defenders for a few season, last season is plagued by injuries(all knee injuries)and struggle for consistently. Barca is rebuilding and I believe only Messi and pique is untouchable in the team. They might not be desperate to sell but they are certainly looking at every option to rebuild. Untiti is only 25 and Barcelona had tendency to sell unwanted players at a cheap price, Gomes Digne are both good example. We should have a go if door is wide enough.
Deal to take De Ligt to Juve is being widely reported to be all but done.

Do you think we should be spending £40m on a player who's an injury concern?. Even so, if he is as good as you say, and I'm not doubting it, why would he come to us?

The Danish lad would make our funds stretch a bit further. Also don't be surprised if we use the loan market too. Perhaps with Malcolm from Barca. Reckon Brands has formed a decent working relationship with them over the last 12 months.

I really like the idea of Malcolm. Buying lads who've fallen out of favour at top teams is extremely smart. However on watching him (once at Anfield) I wasn't impressed at all. He probably shouldn't be judged on that one game though!
