All they're saying is that DCL has had comparatively little time on the pitch compared to other strikers and he might be able to increase his tally with a few more minutes. Think you're being a bit deranged here tbh.

You do realise that he scored a few goals in limited minutes and then was given a 13+ match run of starts that he played basically the whole match and scored absolutely no goals at all don’t you? Often struggling to even get a shot on target most matches

You can tell it's been a quiet weekend transfer wise by reading this thread like lol

My jaw still hasn't come back off the ground from reading that Man United want to spend 30 something million on John McGinn

I think the transfer we most need an answer on is Zouma, because if that's not happening then we need to know so we can get the ball rolling on an alternative

This isnt a pop at you, but it amuses me that people think Brands is just sitting by the phone waiting for Chelsea to ring back.

Hes out there, looking, prowling, talking.

I'm not that worried about Center Mid and it wouldn't be a priority for me

Plenty of options there either from vets like Jimmy Mac or Schneiderlin to young lads like Joe Williams and Benni Baningime (Not sure why he gets so much stick sometimes, thought he's always looked okay when he's played)

I'm also fine with Holgate as back up to Coleman at RB

For me we need to prioritise another CB (Zouma preferably, but you never know), another winger and another striker

Centre Mid and Number 10 isn't as important IMO, especially as if Siggy did get hurt we've got plenty of people who could play deeper in a standard 4-3-3 formation. We could even go 3-4-3 if needed, with Zouma, Mina and Keane in the back 3 and Digne, Gomes, Gana and Coleman in the 4

Well @Eggs has linked us with other defenders, so we're clearly looking, but I'd honestly like the new CB (Whoever it ends up being) through the door ASAP if possible. If Chelsea dillydally then I'd like us to have another one lined up and ready to go. I don't think we should hang around to be honest, and if the whole Lampard things slows things down then we kind of just need to accept that things didn't line up for us on this one. Just my opinion of course, if both Brands and Silva really want Zouma then they could be prepared to let it go all the way to deadline day if needs be

Is that the 13+ games that we beat United, Chelsea, Arsenal and drew with them lot? Just out of curiosity.

Literally cover every topic but transfers in here haha, not that we are making many noises, Brands is a stealth DoF.

Brands has shown he will wait.

All the best deals are done on the last day.
