I like how sections our fanbase think we are the only club in the world and that signing a player is as easy as going “hello here’s £30m, £75,000 per week and a blue shirt. You belong to us now”.

Of course it's not like that, im just interested to know what happened to this list of 'identified targets' that we were supposed to be getting in early, that's all. I am fully aware of how the transfer market works and i know these things can take time (depends on clubs and players)

That's not the Brands way though, the Brands way is to get people in early and training and working within the system, this holding off, waiting till the end of the window and scrambling around is more the Kenwright way.

I don't doubt we will sign players but being a fan is not fun at the moment.

since when? He wouldn't budge a muscle over Mina and Barca caved in this could be applied to our current targets when every journo was writing Mina to United done deal etc, Brands has got people in a sweat because our name isn't being bandied around all over the media over transfer targets

The defence is exposed with just Keane and Mina. Next choice is Holgate and then kids. A solid defence is vital to how we play.

Yes we need a clinical goalscorer but any one of Richarlison, DCL or even Lookman could suddenly hit a goalscoring streak.
Not saying that is ideal, but signing kurt would be a huge boost imo.

I think a defender is priority.

Must admit, i am starting to get a tad bit concerned now with it only being 5 weeks and 2 days till the new season starts and even though i was made up we managed to sign Gomes, as we stand we have got less than we had last season unless Zouma signs as well. I hope the next month is a busy one for Brands.

The form towards the end of the season was very encouraging.

I expect the same side as last season would be much better than last years showing.

I am sure we will add more than just Gomes and Zouma (hopefully).
