Shave it all off and embrace the baldnessHaha yeah I’m currently losing my hair at a rate of knots but it’s one of those things either embrace it or hide away haha.
An yeah we all need a bit of zooms in our lives
I like allowing people to point it out means they’re leaving others alone because it really doesn’t mean anythingShave it all off and embrace the baldness
If we bring in another left footed right winger, as Marco seems set on, and a striker, we will then have three top wide players plus Walcott, Lookman and Henry. We need to sell 2 of these really as that's too many. Personally I'd sell Walcott as he's on a mega salary for somebody who would be 4th choice and one of the others, although I accept that the other 2 would probably fetch higher fees.
There's no doubt Walcott at his best would probably be pushing for a start, never mind 4th choice. But I don't know whether we've seen the last of Walcott at his best.
I can see your logic but when you factor in the ludicrous wages that this mediocrity are on it makes interest from paying clubs an non starter IMOI don't know. I think everybody is quick to beat ourselves up over our players just because they aren't good enough to play for us. Walcott is surely worth £10m to some premier newcomer. Tosun is first choice striker for Turkey when fit. Besic is back and doing well for Bosnian team and is still only 26. I reckon there will be a lot of clubs interested in McCarthy at £5m. Niasse, well you never know but we got a £1m loan fee from Cardiff for just 6 months last season.
I would be happy with Bernard /Ricarlison on the left and New winger /Walcott on the rightThe issue with these things though, is how saleable someone like Walcott is. There has been a big change from almost all teams to sign younger players who you can move on. In many ways we got caught out of that loop by appointing Allardyce and signing Walcott for pretty reasonable money.
You also have to factor in, that Walcott is a bit of a known commodity and probably quite easy to manage. Seems a good pro, and you know what he is going to do. There's no great magic to it anyone, but it can be reasonably effective. I'd imagine he trains quite well as well. He was always a poor signing but we are sort of stuck with him now. Fortunately he doesn't seem to be massively losing his pace and when used in rotation seems to stay quite fit.
If an offer comes in for Walcott, even for around half of what we paid I think he goes. Pretty similar to Schneiderlin I'd say. However if it doesn't I suspect he will stay and provide competition and some experience for the younger lads we've bought.
He was awful last season. We can only hope he does a bit better next time!

However Bernard and digne look a good combination as do Ricarlison /Coleman
Where does that leave Henry and Lookman who are two saleable assets
I would take 25 m each and go for Neres or else Malcolm on loan and a striker.Moving on but for a good price.

Pedro from fluminense is my choice and he would cost about 20m
Richarlison can play either side since his game is more about getting central and scoring from in there. Basically that means we have one LW one RW and one that can play either so we just need to sign a good player if we are done with Lookman/Henry.I would be happy with Bernard /Ricarlison on the left and New winger /Walcott on the right

Malcom is being offered to the likes of Arsenal and Dortmund and a few other big clubs in europe, no mention of us in there whatsoever so i think any chance of that may have gone tbh.I would take 25 m each and go for Neres or else Malcolm on loan and a striker.

Mina was going to either Lyon or united last summer.Malcom is being offered to the likes of Arsenal and Dortmund and a few other big clubs in europe, no mention of us in there whatsoever so i think any chance of that may have gone tbh.
I don't know about Lyon, but he was never going to United, Jose does'nt buy reserve team players and it was fairly obvious that Mina's agent/Barca were saying things to push the numbers up. Mina/Digne/Gomes will all have left before he even got to Barca, and sorry but i am no real fan of Mr Brands so don't believe a word he says, such as him saying that we have identified all our targets and want to get them in early......ok well what's happening then?Mina was going to either Lyon or united last summer.
As Brands has said .you should not look at any transfer as being impossible.
Bernard and ricarlison are countrymen of his ,and Mina ,Digne and gomes are ex teammates
Silva stated at the end of last season. “ homework done - targets identified” - we need to get a move on.
