They were never going to sign him to be honest, it was a bit of a stupid deal in truth.

His contract is up in the summer of 2020. So he has a year to run on his contract this summer. If you were Fiorentina why would you pay 7mill for a player permanently you know Everton want rid off, would bite your hand off for 1mill loan fee for the last year of his contract and you can sign him on a free then in 2020.

He’s basically gone on a free now if someone’s picks up his wage for his last year, we can forget about him really.

Players are improving within the squad, if we can focus on adding 3-4 players this window who all make a difference that will be brilliant.

You think lookman, Onyekuru and Vlasic would bd around £100mil? £30mil ish each?

Tosun, Walcott and Schneiderlin really need to be moved as theres £300k a week in wages there for players not delivering on the pitch. Thats approaching 10% of our total wage bill.

Max Aarons and Che Adams would be my guess.

Not a chance were getting 100m for all six of those. We do need to sell them thou, was a bad call to not sell Lookman when we had a chance, since his stock must be lower now.
 
Of course, Maripan tonight against the US looked like the best ball playing CB in history. Maybe he is worth a shot.

Fiorentina are 10th and crap and don’t want him, a team in the pissing Greek league didn’t want him and sent him back.
