Isn't it time for this bloke again? how much would it take? Seems to have a comeback season last one...

No. Good striker but he should have put Liverpool out the Champions League at the group stages with the last kick of the game but decided to just kick it straight at Alisson. I refuse to forgive him.

Here is today's alternative transfer news update, back by absolutely no demand at all;

Santiago Sosa deal has moved closer after 'The Specialist' was brought in to sort out a Visa. In a highly unusual move Farhad Moshiri made contact with Ray Quick from Miami in a bid to get the move pushed through, it's thought the deal will be completed on Friday and immigration officials family members will be returned unharmed.

Everton still hold an interest in Adolfo Gaich, the contract stipulates that he resolves the issues with his incredibly suspect haircuts prior to signing. There was a hold up in negotiations when Adolfo boarded the flight to Liverpool with a suspicious uniform packed in his luggage, he later explained he uses this for role play. Customs also destroyed a comedy spoof version of 'the boy in striped pyjamas' from his hand luggage.

Reports at the end of last week suggesting we held an interest in Diego Costa have been quashed after he confirmed that he has turned to his true calling, cannibalism. He's yet to confirm a target but Bill Kenwright hasn't been seen since going over to negotiate the now failed deal so some good appears to have come from this.

One bit of news on outgoings is that RB Leipzig appear to have stepped up their interest in Ademola Lookman, he is no longer required and a poor showing in Kenya confirmed to Silva that he wasn't up to PL football. In a shameful attempt to shift blame Lookman has blamed his injury on a chance meeting with Liam Neeson in the tunnel prior to the game.

More news as we receive it.

Would you rather Delph or Schneiderlin as back up?. Make no mistake, Delph is a quality, experienced player who can chip in with a goal now and again. Depends whether he wants a holiday till retirement, or whether he's hungry. Schneiderlin at the top of his game could start regularly, depends whether Silva can get him going at his best. And I do think that Silva is pretty good at the motivational side of things, and has the players well on side.

Neither

I'd be quite happy with that list. 2 New starters is just fine rather than a bunch that will take time to gel.

I personally think that, so long as we get Zouma/a defender of equal ability, we should be fine in defense

I get the calls for another right back, but to me I think Zouma, Mina, Keane and Feeney are enough options at CB that we can give the job of back up RB to Holgate

Sign him and get him to eat Cuco Martina, Bolasie and Steklenberg! His wages paid for!

Was Neeson our seeking revenge for an act on a friend or loved one?

He may be new to the internet, I do not know. But probably more likely is he has come to the sensible conclusion that the content of twitter is largely garbage put there by dimwits with nothing better to do with their lives. I abhor all social media as the good it achieves has to be weighed against the harm it undoubtedly does.
Deep bro

I mean, I don't think Delph is as bad as people make out. He was a valuable cog in the machine at City

The problem is that he'd probably need to be more than that at us, which combined with his age makes me think he doesn't really fit

If we're buying another CM I'd love us to go for Loftus-Cheek, but he's currently injured and I reckon Lampard is going to want him when he's fit again

I mean, we could potentially inquire about loaning Ross back for a season if we needed some options in midfield...

RLC just signed a contract for 150k a week

RLC just signed a massive new deal mate.

We need to forget him now.
