How do they give two wildly different release clauses in one article? Do they not know the pound and Euro are almost equal.
Suppose it's possible that European clubs try to cover themselves for changing exchange rates by inserting differing release clauses depending on the country, to stop an English club taking advantage of a ludicrous exchange rate to buy a £30m player for £15m. No idea if that's what happens like, just a thought.

Just get as many of the useless gets out on loan or permanents as possible. Don't expect to see any of Besic, Mirallas, Schneiderlin, Mirallas, Jagielka, Stekelenberg, Williams, Martina, Sandro, Niasse, McCarthy, Pennington, Galloway, Bolasie, Garbutt in an Everton squad ever again after the end of the season.

Sell Tosun too. Walcott too if possible.

Two strikers, Gomes, Zouma or an alternative, a replacement for Gueye if he goes. That'd do nicely. If possible, a right back. A backup keeper better than Stekelenberg. Would be satisfied with 1 striker, Gomes, Zouma and a Gueye replacement, though. Not forgetting we get Vlasic (hopefully) and Onyekuru back who have big potential.

You know full well that we'll be playing friendlies against Bury and Tranmere in late July and Kevin Mirallas will be starting in both.

Every single pre-season.

So you’re basically saying add one striker to this team and everything will be fine. I think we need a few more players than that to really kick on. We have been very poor in a number of games this season.

You don't think we'd be about 15 points better off if we had, say, a Yakubu in his prime? That's literally the difference a top striker would make. And somebody like Yakubu wasn't even deemed a top striker in his day. DCL has about 6 goals, so imagine having a quality striker who could turn some of those 13 games we've drawn into victories, or somebody to put the ball into the net after dominating teams like Newcastle away when we should have been out of sight by half time.

Turn 6 of those draws into wins, and win two of those awful home defeats due to awful finishing in the final third, and we'd be 18 points better off, way in the race for top 6.

Heck, turn 4 of those draws into wins, win that Newcastle game, beat Huddersfield at home and we're 12 points better off and out of sight in 6th.

And no, I didn't state that at all. I also indicated Onyekuru and Vlasic are both coming back, much improved. We don't need 6 or 7 new signings. We need a settled squad - with lots of outgoings - and the few gaps filling.

You are seriously underestimating the importance of having an actual striker in our starting XI.

I think we need more than a few gaps filling. And it’s pure guess work to think Onyekuru & Vlasic are going to hit the ground running. Everyone thought this would be the season lookman kicked on.

Of course a striker would make a difference, but we still need more than that imo.

Can't really disagree with that exit list. Think we need more replacements. You also forgot to include the manager in the exit list. 2 results doesn't cover up his inadequacies.

I am by no means his biggest fan, but you can't argue with many of the performances this season. It all boils down to not being able to put the ball in the net, having to start with a (young and promising) league one striker as our focal point. Put Lukaku in this XI and we're easily out of reach in 7th, and probably a hell of a lot further in the cups.

That football against West Ham and the first half against Newcastle was as good as I have seen from us in years. Add a striker to that and we'd be even more clinical. Have that side even more settled, perhaps a better right back (although Coleman is regaining form, so currently not such a pressing issue), and we're brilliant.

Get Mina fit in pre-season, more competition in goal, new striker, integrate Onyekuru and Vlasic, and we're in a very good position. We'll be playing one game a week next season, so it's hardly as if we need a 26 man squad.

We'll probably only sign one forward player (who can play centrally as well as out wide) and include Onyekuru as another one. With other areas of the squad needing recruitment, we are very unlikely to bring in TWO new forwards when we have a lot of players there already.

Bernard
Lookman
Richarlison
Calvert-Lewin
Onyekuru
Vlasic
New player (Leao?)

That's not even including Tosun, Sandro, Bolasie and Niasse who are yet to be sold.

Richarlison being good on the right might save us a bit of dough

Can add the money we might have been wanting to spend on a winger to the striker fund

Be funny if that was Pornhub on there;)lol

I’m sure one of our delinquents on he could make it happen for us

Those sides were absolute crap though. And we still struggle to cope with the pace of some of Newcastle’s players. We do need a CF, but several games we got smoked in central midfield because we simply aren’t good enough defensively. When Gana is out we also legitimately stink. So yes, we need more than just a CF.
