We were one of the 1st clubs to use these databases professionally. All top clubs now employ teams of data analysts within their recruitment team.

So yeah, statistics mean nothing when viewed in isolation, but across a season you can gain a much better picture of performance, consistency, fitness and contribution for any player.
 
Probably waiting to see if we get another CB and RB. Even if we get both and let him go, that leaves us with 3 CB's, unless Gibson has shown enough to become the 4th choice.

RBL can do that in the German league they would struggle to be mid table in England with there approach. Apples and oranges

This is what i get for trusting Wikipedia lol. Yeah I guess he's gone. Honestly not sure I get that as he's done impressive work there both as manager and DOF.

And I genuinely don't know what Harvey Barnes has done to even suggest he's the same calibre as Bernard, Mustafi OR Kleberson at this point.

It’s arguable they are however it’s close my point is they can use a team of youngsters and get them to accelerates development with good finishes that’s not possible in the PL

I think the bold part is actually correct, Ralf Rangnick has been running RBL for the past 7 years, and is still in charge there. It only looks a little odd on paper because it appeared he dipped for a year or two, but that was actually just to become manager of the team when they were between managers.

Spurs did it not very long ago. I think they had the youngest average XI when they made CL (if not it was close). Good players are good players.
