I don’t understand why people get themselves so worked up over the transfer window, when they have no idea what is going on behind the scenes. Now I can understand come the day after the window has closed and we have not got the players, then that is the time to riot.

SIlva wants 4/5 players in by next Thursday at the latest... how many will we get?
Also helpful that a new stadium design will distract us all from the lack of activity!

Take a look at the calander mate.

All summer (sorry) all year to line up deals and seal them and here we are with a reserve GK , Dads Army's Corporal Baines and a player we had on loan signed up.

We need massive attacking reinforcements in, we need a RB to push or ideally displace Coleman, we need a CB, and when Gueye goes we'll need a DM.

Still, look at the blue wave.........

How can you hand on heart say Bernard and Digne don't make us a much better side and a lot more exciting to watch. Who knows, if we get this mythical 20 gial striker, Bernards stats might well be a lot better but his game is more than that, his overall game is exceptional, his positional sense, his workrate, his ability to control a ball, his clever passing, do you not recognise any of that as good attributes?

The calendar says the transfer window isn't shut yet, Stop moaning, you're turning into GwladysBlue v2 here taking digs at Everton for not satisfying your needs every second.

I've said nothing about this transfer window all summer. I knew though that we'd be here at this point: against the clock with nothing much significant done. It is now legitimate to start looking at the new season and wondering wtf is going to become of it. We will NOT get the targets we all knew were needed in now. Impossibility.

So we just magically click our fingers and all these targets appear at Finch Farm?

Don't be soft. We're obviously trying to get things done, like ive said in another post, its not easy to land top players. If you want any old player then you can do a deal quickly but if youre looking at players to be an upgrade on what we've already got its more complicated and will take more time.

Guarantee you and a lot of others were all crying this time last year saying we're skint, we're not gonna sign anyone bla bla bla and then we went out and got Gomes / Mina / Zouma late on

If we dont sign anyone else in whats left of the window then fair enough, carry on with your conspiracy theories but until then just have a bit of patience
