8 goals a year for 60 plus mil, James Ward-Prowse scored 7 last season

He's come on massively in the last two seasons where, like you say, teams have to do a hatchet job on him to stop him.

Palace just don't have a player that capitalise on just stopping him. So the idea that say Zaha and Richarlison could be part of a side to me is quite a scary thought for the opposing teams.

A significant bit of our business looks like including Zaha and Kean, neither of whom you’d be watching in a blue shirt now even if we’d signed them on the 1st of June. Zaha wouldn’t even be coming in to training for another 8 days.

Zouma can and probably will turn up on the last minute of deadline day and still start v Palace....he knows everything expected of him.

The majority of the team that finished last season so well was always going to start the first game of the season anyway, regardless of who we signed.

Cool, 80ish million for a player scoring the same amount of goals in 3 years our previous striker did in 1 season. And for more money too. Cool, cool.

Hopefully could see the gbamin deal done while brands is over in germany with the team, kean looks like to be first choice cf with teams maybe closer now, can maybe see us going with holgate at rb and getting a cb on loan if we cant get zouma
