We need to call a halt on his outgoing transfer. It's illogical to let him go when PSG transfer window is open for another month. Are we that cash strapped we are going to let him go before a replacement arrives?

Palace will hold out for top dollar, and dont blame them. Got £50m clear profit for AWB, player has openly said Arsenal/London/CL are his preferred destination(s), 4 years left on a tidy contract. Not exactly a weak hand is it?

All the reports are he is a London lad, loves his area and all that, so other than a £20k pw pay rise, not sure what attraction we actually hold for him.

He's burnt bridges mate. I think there's no going back. Even if West Ham (unlikely) came in for him he'd go imo. We have the most ambition outside of the Top6 by a long way.

We also don't know that we have tried to add him to the Zaha bid. It was just rumours. All we know is there has been a bid of £52-£55m for Zaha, not including any players. By the rumours (but not confirmed) that bid has been/will be rejected. We'll probably go back in with another bid if we really want him, and if Zaha is up for coming here.

Or it could be a pressure build to get someone like Barca to lower the Malcom price. Brands likes the angles so anything is possible in my head when it comes to him.

We don't know anything that's going on behind the scenes though. It's frustrating, it is. And Silva clearly wanted/thought the deals would be done. But we can't just start saying 'we need to be seeing actual agreements etc'.

It'd be great if we could afford to pay £60m for Zaha and not have to worry about it. But that isn't the case, unfortunately. It's pretty much not the case for anyone but City, tbf.

True, I am not really on about just Zaha I mean generally we need to get a shift on. I am personally more worried about a striker, CB and CM if Gana goes. But I appreciate we aren't first in the que and have to convince players to come.
