If we spunk 60m on zaha to be our forward, you’d be happy with that?

Zaha plays well in a counter attaching team and is bang average when other teams sit back. We don’t need to be better in counter, we need to be better in breaking down 2 banks of 4.

No surprise palace were dreadful at home.

Also zaha... he tends to dribble past one then fling himself to the ground to pick up fouls. Won’t get that with us.

I wouldn't be happy with him as our forward, no. But I won't be happy if it's just Kean either.

Him and Kean - I think that'd be two good signings.

If we get him we'll only pay what is our limit. I trust Brands and Silva to know when that limit is.

Probably the truest thing said in here.

Interesting news from France though.

I know it blew my mind as well. Apparently the French don't ride around bikes with stripy jumpers and onions around their neck...who bloody knew!

There's a first time for everything I supposelol

Not sure why you're lost for words Zat. Too much or too little?

£80m is too much in my opinion although I fully understand why he is worth that much to Palace. He could be the difference between them staying in the prem and being relegated. £52m is, at todays prices, cheap for somebody with proven premier quality who is at his peak.

Zaha is a very dangerous player. In a good team where the opposition can't afford to double up against him, he could be devastating. A front 3 of him Kean and Richy is mouth watering.

Still convinced it isn't going to happen because I don't believe we have that sort of money to spend (given the other positions we need to satisfy). But if it does happen I won't be complaining.
He's worth £65m. Probably not more, and maybe not in all upfront payments, but £60-65m in the current market is probably a fair price for him.

Don't get some of the criticism of him on here. He's an excellent player who'd make us better. That being said, do we desperately need him? I don't know. If we're willing to pay £50m+ I'd say Silva clearly thinks so.

I'm bewildered at the fact we would be after Zaha.

If its a 'statement signing' then alot of posters on here (including me) are going to be thinking its a waste of money, hes not someone you would pay to watch like Kanchekskis.

Only thing that makes sense is if we go for a full on counter attacking style with Richarlison -- Kean -- Zaha with Zaha as the main assist machine.

But for £60mil surely thats approaching De Ligt levels of money (we obviously couldnt get De Ligt). and therefore why wouldnt we use it on a super CB or CM player?

Totally illogical signing another right footed winger and at a crazy price.

I hope we whack some money at Tonali, could do with an all-star QB.

100%

Gbamin is a fantastic player. I think his his box to box role he normally plays is where he needs to be. Give him the game time and he will shine. Of course bundesliga and prem are completely different but I think an adjustment would be made easy. The man is non stop all game

Dont recall seeing him. Sangare is the one for me, a real physical presence.

Gbamin sounds like a Roy Keane type while Sangare reminds me of Vieira.

Hmmmmm he retweeted it

Stones would be a great signing, never happening.

I dunno Zat, im defo not Zahas biggest fan, but he entertains. My main problem is with his end product, which ironically would be similar to the person hes gonna replace.

Man City have made an enquiry for Zaha.

Kurt Zouma can still join Everton if we pay 40 million ish. Granovskaia has told Lampard she wants to sell.

Welbeck is still an option.

What I've been told by various people. Not sure how accurate.

Various people, you know a lot of people in the football world you are now the GOT ITK #1
