And wanted to sign tosun from besiktas before he came to Everton

Knew of their supposed interest in McCarthy. Wasn't fully aware of their previous interest in Tosun. As I say, interesting. You don't normally see player exchange deals actually going through. Palace haven't squashed these 'rumours' or criticised the offer(s) (yet) have they. We'll see then. But if this doesn't work, that could be the end of it.
