Any deal can only be agreement with Flamengo and a pre-contract agreement with the lad, subject to medical. I'm not sure what we gain from confirming it publicly, even if we can't stop whatever leaks out of Flamengo.

You can have a pre contract agreement but his registration remains with Flamengo until the start of the first transfer window after his 18th birthday. So that;s not an option.

I think it's kind of an unwritten rule that once these things are agreed between the clubs other clubs keep their hands off, but stuff happens as you know.
