Meunier is a fantastic RB and I hope Colemans recent good form hasn't put us off signing a RB. Meunier Would offer much more going forward in terms of balls into the box than Coleman aswell.

Werner
Meunier
Tousart/Soumare* *if Gana leaves
Zouma
Gomes

If we could do that business we could massively push on next summer imo providing we address the inconsistency as Utd for one will definitely be vulnerable in the top 6.
I doubt we would get Werner. I also think another quality wide player is essential.

For Injuries and competition anything happens to Richarlison and Bernard we could be left witt Walcott, lookman maybe even Onyekuru, hard to tell how he would cope in the prem.

Yeah would be a tough deal to get over the line but I really hope Brands uses his experience and tries getting that game changer signing in up top.

I remember when Spurs were not top 4 regulars and they signed Eriksen out of nowhere who was linked all summer with Real Madrid/Chelsea/Utd who were both the two dominant sides in the league.

I feel thats the sort of move we need to start trying to pull off. I would add Neres in that bracket aswell who I really want us to sign as for me Bernard doesnt score enough to be a first team starter every week however Brands seems to have poured cold water on links to him so think that's a no go.

He didn't make a great judgement with Mina imo but I do agree overall with what you're saying I'm sure he will alternatives in place.

It’s hardly his fault Mina’s been injured. I’m sure he’s got a backup to Zouma or maybe even a cheaper first choice alternative lined up.

James is a pretty rapid winger and likes to beat a man. For the right price he might be worth a go.

I am not sure this is the market we are in this summer. So difficult to know if James is any better than say someone like Bowler because although similar players no comparison between the Championship and U23s. Similarly, would be surprised to see us shopping the Championship if allegedly looking for 5 or 6 players who can improve the first XI, but on that basis we would never have signed the legend that became Tim Cahill.

Agreed. Werner is exactly the level of signing we will have to pull off at some point to break into the group currently above us. The head says impossible but the heart says 'why not'. A year ago I wouldn't have thought Digne possible and looked how that worked out. I think our biggest problem this summer won't necessarily be getting such players interested in coming here - the Prem and the wages on offer enough of an attraction, plus the progress we are beginning to make - but who else may also be in for them. That could push us into that dangerous position of the waiting game, which has caught us out before. Hopefully with Brands now in charge we will have a more robust strategy (although he did hang on until the death for Mina and Gomes!)

Saw some footage of him. He looks a talent but plays on the left which is the favoured wing of Bernard, Richarlison and Lookman. It is a right sided wide attacker that would be more of a priority.

I think Zouma and Gomez are the priority signings and perhaps a young right back. We should look to loan a striker

Ayoze Perez is a massive massive no. We already have a goal scoring #10 with questionable creativity and involvement in the build up (Gylfi has been better at these things lately). We need something different if we are signing another attacking mid.

Mina was injured when we signed him, so not the best start. Let's have a look at him next season although im not convinced tbh.
