We spent 11m on lookman who we don’t play, 11m on Vlasic that’s played about 10 games and 7m on a player that has never and may never even pull on an Everton shirt in his career

We could probably sell all of the above for close to twice what we paid. It’s the sort of approach Chelsea have used for quite a few seasons. It would be great if every young player we signed improved and became a member of the first team however if it doesn’t work out and we loan them out and double our money then it’s win win.

I’m all for signings like this , realistically it’s the best chance we have on being financially viable and being able to have top players if they develop as we aren’t really in a position to attract the quality needed atm
