Good to see us bring new players into the premiership always more exciting, not just us, but the league as well. Generates interest and talking points...

It’s interesting there’s no major rumours now, the calm after the Moise storm, but I imagine Marcel is still working on those key CB and RW positions behind the scenes.
Plus hoping to use the extended European window for offloads

Being in the Zaha not happening camp (although with brands you never know), be interested who we go for right wing.

Obviously there's the cheaper option Traore.

However, if we really did put 50 million plus down for Zaha I'd have thought we can afford Neres, whether he'll come for no CL football is another matter.

But the enigma is Lozano. Not moved anywhere yet and he's not been mentioned since the beginning of the transfer window.

I like the random names that can be thrown up on deadline day, it will be exciting and seems sure we'll be busy. I'm actually looking forward to it.

....I thought today might be Moise Monday but instead we had a Signing Sunday. With just 4 days of the window left, here’s the morning Toffee transfer news for 5th August:

- Everton has confirmed the transfer of striker Moise Kean from Juventus. The Italian club has confirmed Everton will pay €27.5m over 3 years which includes includes €2.5m in bonuses. Reports say there is no buy-back clause.

- After All Nigeria Soccer indicated 22 year old winger Henry Onyekuru was at loggerheads with Everton over a move to Monaco, Football Insider report the French club are putting the finishing touches to the capture of the Nigerian for £12m, after settling personal terms on a 5 year contract.

- The Daily Mail says Everton have a Plan B in case their pursuit of Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma fails. The Toffees are interested in taking a defender from Manchester United in Chris Smalling, Phil Jones or Marcos Rojo.

- Calciomercato report Everton and Tottenham Hotspur like AC Milan midfielder, Franck Kessie, and the Italian giants would be prepared to sell the 22 year old for €40m.

- SportsMole reckon Burnley, Bournemouth and Sheffield United are interested in a permanent move for Everton defender, Mason Holgate. The 22 year old has 3 years remaining on his contract and would cost £10m.

- According to NUFC Blog, Newcastle boss, Steve Bruce, wants Everton’s 28 year old midfielder, James McCarthy.

- Turkish outlet Sabah report Toffees winger Yannick Bolasie could be offered an escape route to Besiktas after the 30 year old held positive discussions about a loan move.

- The Liverpool Echo suggest Everton are prepared to let midfielder Mo Besic ‘go on the cheap’ or even on loan. The 26 year old has spent the last 18 months on loan at Middlesbrough and The Toffees are stepping up efforts to offload the Bosnian.

- According to The Echo, Blackburn, Wigan, Brentford and Portsmouth have all registered an interest in 20 year old Everton academy graduate, Antonee Evans. Serie B outfits Empoli & Perugia and Bundesliga2 side Dinamo Dresden are also said to be keen on the attacker who could be allowed to move for free.

- A Bola report Everton scouts were at a recent match between Belenenses and Santa Clara in Portugal.

- Stoke’s Badou Ndiaye has been linked with The Toffees, but the Echo report the midfielder is in advanced talks over a move to Monaco.

Thanks for the update once again @Eggs

I went to belenenses vs Santa Clara in April. The standard was shocking considering they were 7th and 8th In the league. Like league one standard at best.

I'd be concerned if we were considering anyone from either of them unless theres a wonderkid coming through. The only one who look half decent has just moved to sporting as well.
