Mykolenko was/is good defensively. That's about it. I liked Tony Hibbert tho too.Did anyone rate Mykolenko early on? Had awful games at Norwich and in the cup and only ever went from dreadful to mediocre.
One of those players who you could tell 10 minutes into his debut stunkDid anyone rate Mykolenko early on? Had awful games at Norwich and in the cup and only ever went from dreadful to mediocre.
I was going off of minutes. And 1 in 10 was still being nice.Did he only play 10 games last season?
Definately only had one goal, Must be a 1 in 30 surely!
FFS. Can't we just have one piece of good news?
Is "Hot take" saying of the day?Honestly, hot take here. LITERALLY every other league in the world does this "loan with obligation". Why can't / shouldn't we? Hell, even happens here at Spurs.
offer maupay instead
Obviously I agree he wasn't what we needed but he does have qualities that were never used. He's one of those niggly livewire players, an irritant, with good movement and a footballing brain. Not a target man. The finishing, I don't know. Maybe his confidence was shot early on. I don't love him, will be happy when he leaves, but it's clear we didn't see the best of him and didn't have the squad to make the best of himDont think he is a special player but has far more than mykolenko to his game if we keep with a 3 man mid. I think he would be great is good on the ball but does need to get on it more and get some goals. I think he would be great if we had a attcking mid in front of him
Think both at fault not the type of cf we ahould have went for but also on the player some of his finishing this season was a disgrace. I still have no idea what he is meant to be good at has no pace, not a good finisher cant really hold the ball up.
The start of the "downfall" was Moshiri.Dont be ridiculous.
Martinez was the start of the downfall and for every good player he brought in, he brought in a terrible one.
He wasn't interested in sorting the defence, that wasn't his style of football.
Martinez needed to go. He would have relegated us.
If any manager in hindsight we should have been patient with it was Silva.
Hot takes all round today...My hot take is this.
Yes
No harm in trying I suppose but you’re relying on being the only club to offer. Also, when the likes of Juve do it they’ll have a player who is desperate to do it and has likely already agreed terms, so the selling club is in a position of weakness. It’s not quite the same when you’re Everton.Honestly, hot take here. LITERALLY every other league in the world does this "loan with obligation". Why can't / shouldn't we? Hell, even happens here at Spurs.
