Really not desperate for Danjuma if he comes in fine but ideally we look for someone with a better attitude
Player power if somebody wants to join a particular club then the selling clubs would be forced to accept what is on offer or be left with a disgruntled player who doesn't want to be there. The Rice deal is a massive eye opener for those like Zat who think Everton can pay on the never never for players. He has signed a 5 year contract but notwithstanding Arsenal have to pay £100 million over 24 months .
Now you realise why Everton can't sign players for fees. Of course the selling club can agree to accept a longer payment schedule but why would they?
The sad thing is that the Defence is the least of our problems.. midfield offers nothing defensively and are incompetent at attacking and our forwards are either injured or nowhere near the standard required for this league (also not getting decent help from mid).Yeah I get you, obvs I would prioritise a striker and maybe a quality left back and right midfielder first but our defence was still rock bottom for almost all of last year in alot of metrics and was bailed out alot by Pickford so Im just still a bit unsure about it atm
january 2024 nailed on lolNever mind might get him next time 3rd time lucky, wouldn't put it past our recruitment team to try again.
We are desperate aren't we in every respectNever mind might get him next time 3rd time lucky, wouldn't put it past our recruitment team to try again.
Gutted weren’t in for Alex Scott. Letting teams like wolves and Bournemouth ffs fight it out for a poxy 20mil

Doucoure
Onana
Gueye
Garner
Gomes
Gbamin...
...Iwobi can play CM...
...We will likely see one of Warrington or Onyango be promoted to the first team.
Now, while I too would love Everton to sign young talented players, please, after reviewing the above information can you tell me why Everton should be using their very limited budget on a young CM?
Striker, winger and CB are the priorities.
In fairness.
Do we not all hate them just a little bit?

I think "resigned apathy" is probably the most accurate. I remember throwing things after that Bournemouth match where Barkley scored in like the 96th minute, mini pitch invasion and then they literally walked down the other side and scored against us. I barely even react when a goal is scored for or against us these days.I'm past the hate, long past it.
It's a resigned apathy now, which is even worse.
Which means once we've survived hell for the 3rd time in a row, moved in to BMD and also lost another heap of junk ( including kenwright ).I reckon he will still be here next season. I think the bigger teams noticed his form tailed off and want to have another look at him over next season before making a move.
Its painfully obvious he's a good playerI hate Liverpool more and hes not a very good player, so would rather he jogged around their midfield.
